Millefiori is the term used
for a glass making
technique, it translates to
a thousand flowers. This
is a method of bundling
rods of colored glass
together to form an image,
like "murano" glass or
glass paperweights with
flowers in them. This
method has been applied
here to oven bake clay,
the pieces you see are
not painted on and are the
same on the front as on
the back of the clay, the
design goes all the way
through the piece of clay.
The images are hand built
and the
pendants,necklaces, and
earrings assembled by
myself, combining wire,
semi-precious stones,
glass beads, and silk hand
dyed ribbons.
